This week in the office was extremely busy! Choosing the nail polish colour for it was a struggle. It should have been office dress code appropriate yet I expected it to last for the whole week with no chipping. You have no idea how glad I am that I picked the KIKO Nail Lacquer in 372 Nude – it turned out to be my perfect nude nail polish up to date.
Kiko Nail Lacquer ($3.90) – nail polish with hardening and strengthening action. The gel texture gives an extreme lacquered shine and an ideal level of fluidity for perfect control and great ease of application. Full colors – pearly, metallic, with flame, glitter and micro-glitter: whatever the desired effect, the result will always be beyond your expectations. Nail Lacquer has no abrasive ingredients like Toluene, Camphor, DBP and Formaldehyde.
You might already know that I love KIKO nail polishes for a quick-drying formula, wide elongated ergonomic brush, gorgeous shades and extreme wear time. I have been seriously impressed with the KIKO Nail Lacquer in 338 Light Lavender (review here) – a beautiful periwinkle blue that lasted on my nails for full five days. That is why I decided to go for the same brand this time and chose a light nude shade.
KIKO Nail Lacquer in 372 Nude is a cool-toned ashy blush pink shade with a pure cream glossy finish. It is a very unique nude colour as it does not lean yellow or white and stays true cool-toned that looks especially flattering on my nails as I have a light skin tone with cool pink undertones. As you have already guessed, it is not that easy for me to find a good nude nail colour. It goes on semi-opaque with the first coat and is completely opaque with the second one.
The formula of KIKO nail polishes is really nice. Nude is really good at evening itself out and it works perfectly well with my favourite Essie base and top coats. It took this nail colour 5-7 minutes to get completely dry and it lasted for the full week on my nails, with very minor tip wear by the end of the fifth day. That is an unexpectedly good result for a nude cream nail polish as these chip like crazy on me.
I loved how neutral it looks on my nails and how flattering it appears to be. It is a perfect office shade when you have a very strict dress code. It makes your hands and nails look very neat and feminine. The fact that it lasts for a whole week makes it an ideal nail polish if you work a lot and have no time to paint your nails every other day. I really like it!
