The month of August was a month of discovering the KIKO brand for me. I’ve managed to try quite a few KIKO makeup items several of which made it to my monthly favorites together with some amazing products from Make UP For Ever, Sleek, Clinique, Burberry and Yves Rocher. I am so excited to share my favorites with you this month as all these products are beyond amazing!

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation Review and Swatches
Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation

First, I would love to mention that Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation was the main and most loved makeup discovery of the year! I have been speaking about it in my makeup must-haves earlier in August and it definitely is completely irreplaceable to me. This foundation has a full coverage yet natural finish, is extremely easy to blend and reach any desired intensity. It wears nicely and is completely non-sticky if set with powder! Love!

KIKO Milano Bright Duo Baked Eyeshadow in No. 09 Pearly Emerald - Metallic Violet Review and Swatches
KIKO Milano Bright Duo Baked Eyeshadow in No. 09 Pearly Emerald – Metallic Violet

The newly launched KIKO Bright Duo Baked Eyeshadows have instantly drawn my attention. There are 24 duos available and I’ve given a two of these a try. I have both eyeshadows reviewed here and my favorite one is the No. 09 Pearly Emerald – Metallic Violet. It combines two absolutely gorgeous shades – magenta purple with a beautiful metallic finish and a bright turquoise blue that has the most beautiful golden sheen to it. The color intensity is pretty amazing and it wears for as long as you need it on an eyeshadow base.

Clinique Cheek Pop blush in 01 Ginger Pop Review and Swatches
Clinique Cheek Pop blush in 01 Ginger Pop

It took me quite some time to give into the hype around Clinique Cheek Pop blushes and I got one in the shade 01 Ginger Pop. I wish I gave these a try earlier! It is one of my favorite blushes now because it has the most amazing texture I’ve ever tried. It is so creamy and soft to touch and is easy to pick up with the brush while being nowhere near powdery that is a huge plus. I love how seamlessly it blends in with the skin and how natural it looks. And you can reach any desired intensity with it from a very sheer application up to true-to-pan color on your cheeks! Yves Rocher Flawless Skin Concealer Review and Swatches
Yves Rocher Flawless Skin Concealer

I purchased Yves Rocher Flawless Skin Concealer around four or five months ago and I have recently noticed that I do use it quite often. The reason why is its gentle, creamy consistency. It is a stick concealer that literally melts on the skin. It works wonderfully under the eyes, over imperfections and I really love that the shade range is quite extensive. I used the shade Rose Clair as my under-eyes concealer, Rose Moyen as a peachy color corrector and the darker Dore Moyen as my contour. It is easy to blend and it stays put for 8+ hours if set with powder.

KIKO Milano Colour Correction Face Fixing Powder Review and Swatches

Another pleasant discovery of the month is KIKO Colour Correction Face Fixing Powder. If you’ve always wanted to get Guerlain Meteorites – don’t waste your money. The KIKO Colour Correction Powder is so much better while having the same effect on the skin. It is almost translucent but has this beautiful sheen that makes it very much comparable to the Meteorites. And it sets foundation nicely. Love it!

Sleek MakeUP Highlighting Palette in Solstice Review and Swatches
Sleek MakeUP Highlighting Palette in Solstice

I’m all about glowing skin and no wonder I fell completely in love with this Sleek Highlighting Palette in Solstice. I have already reviewed it here: it swatches beautifully and looks stunning in real life. All shades are wearable for my light skin tone and the texture is so creamy and even. I totally recommend getting it if you haven’t already!

Burberry Kisses Hydrating Lip Colour in No. 17 English Rose Review and Swatches
Burberry Kisses Hydrating Lip Colour in No. 17 English Rose

My lip product of the month is this gorgeous lipstick by Burberry – Burberry Kisses Hydrating Lip Colour in No. 17 English Rose. It has such a nice your-lips-but-better light pinky mauve shade with neutral undertones that looks exceptionally good on me and does not contradict with my skin tone. It has a buildable formula and is very moisturizing! Full review here.

KIKO Milano Nail Lacquer in No. 338 Light Lavender Review and Swatches
KIKO Milano Nail Lacquer in No. 338 Light Lavender

And finally, out of all my nail colors – there’s one I couldn’t resist painting my nails withKIKO Nail Lacquer in No. 338 Light Lavender. I love, love, love such a beautiful periwinkle blue color with a touch of purple to it. It looks very flattering on the nails and wears well for 5 days least. Reviewed here.
