Taking care of my hands is the most essential part of my body care routine. I can skip a foot cream, I can neglect a body moisturizer – but I never ever skip a hand cream, as due to harmful environment (read washing hands often + colder weather) – hands are the first to suffer. Even the perfect manicure won’t look good if the hand skin is dull, dry or cracked. So, hand cream is a must.
I used to use the L’Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream that contains 20% Shea butter but somehow it never gave me enough hydration and my hands always felt a bit dry by the end of the day. No wonder that I have been looking for a new option for quite some time now. I believe that I own around ten of even more hand creams, most of which end up in my bag for daily use. You never know, when you might need a hand cream, right? But I have always wanted to get a good night time hand cream that can keep my skin hydrated all day long.
Esfolio Pure Snail Hand Cream (₩4,400 or around $4.00) strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. Hydrates deep with snail secretion filtrate and plants’ extracts for long lasting moisture. Transforms dry hands into a hydrated healthy glow.
When I purchased the Esfolio Pure Snail Hand Cream I honestly thought that it would be another hand bag cream, especially for such a price. But after using it for a couple of weeks I released that I rarely ever reach for it more than once a day (I previously had to use a hand cream at least three times a day!). Now I’m using it before bed and my hands are soft and hydrated all day long the next day.
Esfolio Pure Snail Hand Cream comes in a squeeze tube in the amount of 100 ml. It has a slightly creamy scent that disappears almost instantly. The best part of this cream that it absorbs almost instantly and feels like nothing on the skin. After using it you hands are neither sticky nor oily. That is a huge plus for me as I hate it when my hands are covered with cream, even at night. It sinks into the skin and you immediately feel the hydration. When I use this cream my hands become soft and deeply moisturized and the effect is quite pro-longed (you can even skip a day or two!).
This isn’t my first Korean hand cream but it is the first one I truly love. And the affordable price makes it a permanent member of my hand care routine. Besides, the snail mucin or filtrate is a well-known emollient in the Korean skin care and it does work.
Have you tried the Esfolio hand creams? Or other Korean hand creams? What is your all-time favorite hand care product? Share you favorites and recommendations in the comments below. I would really love to know!
Thank you very much for your attention.
