While it is still summer I really enjoy using bronzers that normally look too warm on my light skin. A few weeks ago I discovered a new mineral bronzer by Catrice that comes within the same range as a highlighter. So I decided to get and review both of these products as I always have quite a good experience with Catrice powder products.

Catrice High Glow Mineral Highlighting Powder (€4,99) – baked highlighting powder infused with minerals and fine light-reflecting pearls for a luminous look. Sheer and buildable coverage – for a subtle glow all over or illuminated accents on cheeks, temples and décoletté.

Catrice High Glow Mineral Highlighting Powder comes in a single shade – Light Infusion and is a very light pink-based beige highlighter with tons of ultra-fine multicolored shimmer that translates into a very delicate sheen on the skin if applied lightly or turns into a very strong pearly highlight if used extensively.

It is a very beautiful highlighter that has neutral undertones (a very rare thing!) and it is likely to suit a lot of skin tones up to medium. It is light but I can easily get away with wearing it even when I am tan and it does not look powdery or chalky on my skin. The texture is ultra-soft and is easy to apply. It definitely does have a buildable coverage from very sheer application up to very intense, super metallic highlight. It stays on my skin for the whole day if applied over a foundation.

Catrice Sun Glow Mineral Bronzing Powder (€4,99) – baked bronzing powder infused with minerals for a radiance boosting complexion. Provides a natural tan with buildable coverage and a soft matte finish.

Catrice Sun Glow Mineral Bronzing Powder in the shade Golden Light is a medium deep warm-toned bronze shade with tons of extremely finely milled silver shimmer that is almost invisible on the skin and adds a bit of a sheen to the finish of a bronzer. The soft matte finish advertised by the brand is more luminous that soft but is in no way shimmery or reflecting.

This particular bronzer looks very natural on the skin as it is easy to blend and even blends in with the complexion. It comes in a single shade that might be a tad too dark for fair skin tones but it works absolutely fine for those with skin tones from light to medium. It is quite easy to apply because it is buildable from very sheer to medium coverage.

On the swatch above you can see both products applied side by side, both powders applied intensively. I am very glad I decided to try both bronzer and highlighter as I really liked both with highlighter being my favorite. Catrice does create wonderful powder products with these to be no exclusion. I absolutely adore the highlighter as it is just the right shade for my skin tone and I do enjoy using bronzer as it gives my skin this natural sun-kissed look. I totally advise you giving highlighter a try because it is gorgeous. The bronzer is quite good as well, especially for the price point.

Have you tired these products? What do you think of the highlighter? Do you like the bronzer? Share your experience in the comments down below!

Thank you very much for your attention.

Have an amazing day!

Hugs and kisses,

Dorothea❤
