Apologies for being absent more often than not over the past couple of months. I have a big event (probably the biggest and the most important in my life) coming up. It takes too much time to organize and even more effort to do everything right. This does not only make me stressed but it ruins any personal, work and blogging schedule I have.
I have been feeling the lack of time and energy to keep up with everything. That made me reconsider how I was managing my time and figure out the best working schedule possible, taking into consideration all of the distractions. I have to say that it does indeed work for me now and I will be posting regularly from now on while managing both event planning and personal life.
About two months ago I’ve asked you to submit the questions for the Q&A and I have to thank Stashmatters (www.stashmatters.com) and Kaily (www.hellokaily.com) for their questions! Your support means a lot to me and I highly appreciate any type of involvement as no hobby is as interesting as it is when shared with the like-minded people!
You are all gorgeous and thank you so much for being there!
And now – the questions!
Where are you from?
I am from Greece, but I have been living both in Germany and the US for a very long time. Besides that I also travel a lot and I have been living in China for quite some time as well.
Are you a student or do you work?
I’ve graduated from two universities – one in Germany, the other one in US. I am no longer a student though I consider getting a PhD sometime in future. Preferably in marketing although my main specialization was economics and finance.
I currently work as a part-time English teacher along with being an assistant accountant.
Do you speak other languages?
Yes, I do. I speak English, German, Chinese, Russian and Greek.
What places have you visited and what’s your favorite?
I have traveled quite a lot around the world. I have been in Greece (obviously), in Germany and the United States, in China, in Russia and in the UAE. I loved China for the huge historic legacy the country has. It is a unique place with many beautiful buildings and an interesting culture – I advise taking a look at the Great Wall and the Forbidden City. I was also amazed at the beauty and futuristic image of Dubai. Russia is another marvelous place on our globe. It is an astonishing mix of merging cultures and traditions. I highly recommend visiting Moscow and seeing Kremlin if you have such an opportunity. New York amazed me with its monumentality and its pace of life.
What’s your favorite food?
Pasta alla carbonara.
What’s your pet peeve?
Sleeping more than 8 hours whenever I have a chance 😀
What is your favorite colour?
Do you have any pets?
No. Though when I was younger we used to have three dogs and a cat.
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life (and still be healthy) what would it be?
What’s your favorite candy?
Dark chocolate with chili or mint.
What are your goals?
To be fit and to be good at what I do.
These are the questions from Stashmatters and Kaily. Again, thank you so much! 😉
Here are the questions that I also get asked a lot – hope this might be interesting as well! 🙂
What is your skin tone? What foundations shades do you use?
My skin tone is NW20 in MAC (NW25/30 when I get tan). My best foundation matches so far are the following: Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation in 115 (R230), Rimmel Match Perfection in 100 Ivory, Guerlain Lingerie De Peau in 01, Maybelline Dewy + Smooth Fit Me Foundation in 115 Ivory, NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in Light 2 Mont Blanc, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 4.75, Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions BB Cream in Light, MAC Studio Watertight Foundation in NW 20, Sephora Wonderful Cushion Foundation in 14 Soft Beige and The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation in 020 Bali Vanilla. I added as many foundations as possible so that you may find a right shade if you have the same skin tone as I do.
What camera do you use?
I use Canon EOS 60 D with 18-200 lens.
