I strongly believe that taking a good care of your skin is essential. When your skin is hydrated it always looks good and any makeup you put over it goes flawlessly and beautifully. There is a ton of different products that you can include to your skincare routine. One of my favorite ways to look after my skin is using face masks targeted to solve different issues from hydrations to cleanse.
Face masks usually get divided into two categories – jar/tube masks and sheet masks. I prefer to use a combination of both within a week as I see great results this way. I love to use sheet masks twice a week preferably in the morning as these masks act instantly and make your skin look gorgeous. My makeup always applies marvelously over the cream/gel residue sheet masks leave. My favorite brands would be The Face Shop, Tony Moly and Enesti. I usually get the hydrating or moisturizing type of a mask such as a Tony Moly I’m Real Aloe Mask Sheet Moisturizing or Tony Moly Puresness 100 Hyaluronic Acid Mask Sheet Hydrating. Or I go for a more multi-purpose sheet mask like Enesti Collagen Multi Care Mask or The Face Shop Real Nature Mask Rice. I am also really looking forward to trying Shiseido, Dr. Jart+ and Sephora sheet masks in the future.
As for a more conservative type of masks (those packaged in a jar or a tube) I have really been loving The Body Shop Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask as it is an ideal instant remedy for extremely dehydrated skin. It works immediately on the skin and makes it look softened and smooth. You can easily use it as a makeup base as well. I used to use a the Galmglow masks and really liked the Thirsty Mud Hydrating Treatment. I’ve been having the Origins and Fresh masks on my radar recently and I am really willing to give these a try when I ran out of my Vitamin E mask. These kind of mask I use once in a week as it has a prolonged type of an effect and works best in combination with the above mentioned sheet masks.
