Mini-Review: Urban Decay Lush Lash Mascara

I love Urban Decay mascaras. These mascaras have an amazing formula and are absolutely miraculous – all of the Urban Decay mascaras I have ever tried. The Urban Decay Perversion/Subversion Duo has been a staple of mine for a while now. And today I would love to share with you my thoughts on the Urban Decay Lush Lash Mascara that simply works wonders on your lashes while taking a really good care of them!

Urban Decay Lush Lash Mascara (€22.99 or £15.00) – indulge your lashes with our hardest-working mascara on the planet. Urban Decay’s unique formula delivers instant length and volume effects.

This mascara comes in a gorgeously designed iridescent purple tube with a beautiful flower pattern on it. It is made of plastic but is really nice to the touch. It contains 10 ml or 0.34 US fl oz of product that is a standard amount of product you get with any mascara. It has a plastic wand with thin and spiky bristles that are located very tightly. This mascara is quite easy to use on both upper and lower lashes due to how short the bristles are.

The shade the Lush Lash Mascara comes in is black and it is a very deep, rich black shade that does not turn either grey and blue on the lashes and stays true black throughout the wear time. The amazing part of the tube this mascara has is the stopper (on the photo below). It is a ball-shaped round stopper that closes mascara safely that allows it to stay in an absolutely perfect condition for as long as you use it as it prevents the mascara from drying. Moreover, it keeps mascara tube and its neck very clean and it never ever gets messy.

Actually, I would not completely agree with the description of this mascara. It does not add that much of a volume to the lashes, but it adds a ton (I mean, A TON!) of length, separation and curl to your lashes. On the photo below you can see the real difference between the lashes coated with mascara and my bare lashes. This mascara drastically changes the way the lashes look.

I only have two thin coats of the mascara on my lashes on either of these two photos and I have to say that it makes my natural lashes extra long and curly and I do not use the lash curler for either of the eyes. My natural lashes look alright in a real life but they are not that curly as a mascara makes them (you can see that my lashes even reach the brows on the photos above). It easily coats the lashes due to a high amount of bristles it has that allows it to make the lashes look way longer and separated. It stays on my lashes for as long as I have my makeup on and is easy to remove with the use of any micellar water.

I have already gone through a couple of these mascaras and I have been completely happy with them. This mascara also says that it is a ‘growth serum-infused conditioning mascara‘ but I cannot say that it does something outstanding in this area. But I am stilly happy to know that it takes care of my lashes at very least and does not do any harm. This mascara is one of the most beautiful natural-looking mascaras I have ever used. I can totally recommend it to you if you were looking for an amazing curling and lengthening mascara that is also good at separating the lashes and has some extra benefits that can potentially improve your lashes.

Thank you very much for your attention.

Have an amazing day!

Hugs and kisses,

Dorothea
