We are steadily approaching winter and I intuitively tend to reach for more cool-toned lighter nail polish shades. On of the most interesting nail polishes in this category in my collection is the Chanel Frenzy. It is an amazing combination of white, lilac, grey and beige and you never know what it looks like on your nails in a different lighting.
Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00) features classic and trend-defining shades in an exclusive formula that strengthens and moisturizes nails as it delivers high-shine colour. Applies without streaking.
Chanel Frenzy was one out of three nail polishes released especially for the Chanel Les Essentials De Chanel for Fall 2012, together with the dark Vertigo (reviewed here) and beautiful raspberry Suspicious. This collection was very thoroughly designed and each shade was very thought out. It is my favorite Chanel nail polish release as all three shade are absolutely stunning and are, unfortunately, limited edition.
Chanel Frenzy is a light beige taupe shade with a hint of lilac gray and a beautiful creamy finish. It is a very hard shade to describe as it leans cool-toned or warm-toned depending on the lighting. Sometimes it seems more gray, then it turns beige and in some lighting it may even appear almost lilac. A perfect winter nude, I would say.
It is a cream nail polish with a wonderful formula that glides on the nails easily and evens out on its own pretty well. It is very user-friendly and works nicely with base and top coats I prefer to use with all my nail polishes.
It has a beautiful glossy finish and goes completely opaque with two coats. Somehow, it does not appear flat and is a very interesting shade to look at. It has a very good wear time – tips wear off on the second day but it is barely noticeable and it wears perfectly fine for the whole week. It is one of the best Chanel nail polishes in terms of wear time.
I prefer to wear this particular shade in colder months as it seems perfect for late autumn and the beginning of winter. It reminds me a lot of white wooden floors somewhere in the country house – like white oak that is exceptionally beautiful. I think it works well as a nude shade for those with very light skin tone like mine and I see it exactly this way. It is a unique and comfortable shade and I really am happy I once got it. Hope you’ll like it too!
Thank you very much for your attention.
Have an amazing day!
Hugs and kisses,
