My Thoughts On: Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick

Today I would like to share my thoughts on the Bobbi Brown eyeshadow sticks with you. If you love the multi-tasking products, that are easy to apply, bledable and long-wearing – you will definitely like these eyeshadows! I have been using these for quite sometime now and I think these are the best option for a quick eye-makeup looks!

Bobbi Brown Long-wear Cream Shadow Sticks ($29.00) is a long-lasting, do-it-all eye shadow that’s a stroke of genius – just swipe and ho. This budge-proof formula stays put for eight hours.

These eyeshadows come in a form of a pencil (or a stick) and are mechanical, that obviously does not require sharpening. The shadow stick itself is creamy and glides on the lid easily without dragging or pulling the sensitive lid skin. There are several finishes within the range to choose from – you can get mattes, shimmery satins or metallics.

The wear time is excellent if applied alone or with the eyeshadow base (what I prefer to do). You can use these eyeshadow solo all over lid or you can mix different sticks and create the desired eye look. You can use these eyeshadows as an eyeshadow base to intensify the eyeshadows you put over it. All sticks are quite bendable with either a finger or a brush – you may also vary the intensity of the shadow – from full opacity up to sheer wash of color.

I have seven shades to show you today, featuring every finish from the line.

All of these eyeshadow sticks wear on me for at least 8-9 hours before slightly fading away and no creasing. If you use an eyeshadow base beneath – these eyeshadows will stay put for even longer. I especially love to use these as an eyeshadow bases to intensify the eyeshadow colors. This is a very easy product to use and I would recommend it to beginners – that is how simple it is to do a nice eye makeup look with this sticks and not to worry about the wear time and creasing afterwards.

I hope this review was interesting and useful for you. Please, leave any questions, thoughts and ideas in the comments down below!

Thank you very much for your attention.

Have an amazing day!

Hugs and kisses,

Dorothea

  1. Oooh these look lovely! Have you tried the Laura Mercier caviar Sticks? Those are really creamy and budge-proof. I like Bark the best out of these with Sand Dune a close second – very versatile colours. Thanks for swatching and reviewing these!
