I think that lots of Korean skincare products are very strong rivals to even the most luxurious european skincare brands. I love both Korean makeup and skincare and already own quite a few. From time to time I tend to order new makeup and skin care to try out and see whether there are some new, gorgeous products.
If you remember, I posted Five Interesting Fact about Korean Cosmetics half a year ago, where I presented some really interesting facts about Korean Cosmetics industry. It is not only skincare oriented, but the Korean government takes control over the quality of produced makeup and skincare, certifies the ingredients that can be used and control prices. That makes Korean skincare very alluring to customers and extremely competitive on global market.
I got some really interesting skin care items this time that I would love to share with you today! Being a huge fan of cotton mask sheets I could not resist getting a few from different brands. As I had very positive experience with the Tony Moly masks before I ordered some new masks from the “I’m Real” line.
Tony Moly I’m Real Red Wine Mask Sheet ($5.00) is designed to take care of your pores. It helps to tighten uneven skin texture with enlarged pores. I do not suffer from enlarged pores, but I have a small amount of visible pores on my cheeks and I wonder how this mask will deal with them.
Tony Moly I’m Real Aloe Mask Sheet ($5.00) is targeted at moisturizing your skin. You already know, that I have dry to combination skin that tends to be on the direr side in winter. A good moisture mask could be very helpful in this case. Especially when it is created specifically for dry skin as this Aloe mask.
Tony Moly I’m Real Pomegranate Mask Sheet ($5.00) was the third one I decided to try. It is supposed to help you to restore skin elasticity. At the age of 25 it may not be the main issue and I may not see some visible results immediately but I think it is still a good mask to firm my skin a little bit.
I was really happy with the Enesti cleansing foam I got a couple months ago. This time I focused my attention on their masks.
Enesti Hyaluronic Multi Care Mask ($3.00) is a uniquely created mask that is based upon the water from the Suanbo spring in Korea. This water is stated to be rich with calcium, sodium, magnesium and zinc that are supposed to be good for your skin. Moreover, this mask also has hyaluronic acid among its ingredients to intensely moisturize your skin. Exactly what I need!
Enesti Collagen Multi Care Mask ($3.00 is another mask from the brand. It is based on the same type of water and also has the hydrolyzed collagen in its formulation. Collagen helps your skin stay hydrated, revives your skin and adds radiance. I really wonder how this will work for me.
Besides sheet masks I decided to get some serums and emulsions as well. Having read many positive reviews on It’s Skin care, I decided to give it a try.
It’s Skin Collagen Voluming Serum ($10.00) is said to have hydrolyzed collagen in it that provides elasticity and nutrition to the skin. It allows you to get naturally radiant and smooth skin when used and suits every skin type. It’s Skin has a huge Collagen line and I decided to start with the serum as it is a very concentrated product that allows you to see results pretty quickly.
To completely moisturize my skin (and get it all hydrated by the beginning of winter!) I also got the It’s Skin Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Mist ($10.00). The Hyaluronic Acid line by It’s skin boosts skin’s moisture level, managing health. This sounds very promising.
The other two products are both members of the Power 10 Formula line dedicated to solve different skin problems from dehydration up to enlarged pores and redness.
It’s Skin Power 10 Formula Q10 Effector ($15.00) contains Coenzyme Q10 that is known for skin benefits it provides. It is supposed to improve rough skin by providing firm resilience and cell activation.
It’s Skin Power 10 Formula Li Effector ($15.00) contains Licorice that helps to recover skin tone and reduce redness through clarifying and brightening effects. I suffer from occasional redness that appear on my cheeks and forehead as my skin is quite sensitive. And nothing helps much with it so this product is the most exciting one for me to try!
As my skin is dry to combination now, my forehead gets a bit oily by the end of the day. And I do not always want to use another layer of powder to get rid of oiliness there. The Dewy Tree Nature Source Green Tea Mattering Linens ($3.00) seem to be a good solution in this case, especially being based on green tea leaves.
Looks very natural in packaging that contains 50 thin linens.
And finally, I also got the It’s Skin lip balm!
It’s Skin Macaron Lip Balm ($5.00) looks exactly like a sweet and tasty macaron. And smells the same! I got the one called pineapple and can’t wait to try it!
As for repurchases, I ordered three more Enesti foaming cleansers as these are absolutely amazing!
Enesti Foaming Cleanser ($4.00) comes in four different types – Rose Hip Oil (mu current favorite!), Rice and Milk, Yuzu and Aloe and Honey. These cleansers are very mild and delicate and are perfect for sensitive skin.
So, this is my most recent beauty haul that I am extremely excited about. I will get you updated on each product once I try them all for enough time to make an opinion on each and every item.
Do you like Korean skin care? What are your personal favorites? Have you ever tried any of the products, featured above? I would love to know what you think!
Thank you very much for your attention.
Have an amazing day!
Hugs and kisses,
