I love making wish lists for my makeup purchases even though spontaneous makeup shopping is as much fun. What I like about structuring what I want to get is the clarity it gives me when I finally go shopping. It allows me to see what I really need and sort things out. Do you make any such lists for your makeup purchases?
Usually, such a wish list is started in the Note app on my phone being then steadily transformed into a check-in list. And today I decided to show you what my current wish-list looks like. These are some carefully selected makeup and beauty items that seem to be the most interesting for me and I really hope I’ll be able to get some of them.
Believe me or not, but I haven’t yet purchased the newest Urban Decay Naked palette! The Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette ($54.00) is packed with a ‘dozen sultry, smoky neutrals, including nine never-before-seen shades and three exclusives from the past palettes‘. I can already imagine a huge variety of makeup looks I can create with it!
I can also say that I have been very much into fragrances lately and the Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Cologne (100 ml for $125.00) caught my eye when I was browsing the Jo Malone website. I am really looking for something inspirational for the upcoming Autumn season. It smells like a bellflower and a lily-of-the-valley – what can be even more mesmerising?
The YSL Beauty has recently launched the Pop Water Collection that includes the new line of lip stains – YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis A Levres Glossy Stains – Pop Water ($36.00). I especially liked a nice nude-ish Eau De Corail, that will be a sweet reminder of the summer for the next couple of months.
Nars has also presented their absolutely new mascara – Nars Audacious Mascara ($26.00) – ‘from instant definition to blindsiding impact, every layer multiplies, amplifies, mesmerizes‘. This mascara promises to do everything from separating to lengthening to amplifying – all at once and it is so tempting!
I told you I am into trying out fragrances right now, didn’t I? Estee Lauder has recently launched a new flanker to their famous Modern Muse fragrance – the Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge Eau De Perfume ($62.00 – $110). ‘Extroverted. Glamorous. Sophisitcated’ – are the feelings behind the fragrance. I love the pyramid of this scent – it starts off with red currant and raspberry accompanied by pink pepper and saffron. It steadily transitions to bulgarian and may roses, jasmine and magnolia petals. And it is based on patchouli, vetiver, vanilla and ambrette.
And finally, being a huge fan of The Body Shop spa line I cannot resist getting the body cream from the newly launched Spa Of The World line and my choice is The Body Shop Spa Of The World Japanese Camelia Cream (£23.00 or €26,00). ‘The exquisite scent of this pure and elegant flower allows mind and body to reconnect with a moment of profound peace‘ – who doesn’t want that? It is also stated that the cream has a very nice velvety texture and gently softened and moisturises skin, relaxes body and mind.
That is what I’m really looking forward to getting in the near future. What about you? What do you currently have on your wish list? Or in mind? I would love to know! Share you thoughts and ideas in the comments down below.
Thank you very much for your attention.
Have an amazing day!
Hugs and kisses,
