I believe you already know that the color of the year 2015 is Marsala – a unique berry-brown, deep wine shade. And many brands do their own interpretations of this shade for their fall collections. Inspired with the autumn-like berry and brown shades Tom Ford presents the Autumn/Winter 2015 Runway color Collection.
As the name of collection suggests the centerpiece of the collections is definitely the Marsala colored new limited-edition Tom Ford Runway Color ($42.00) in AW15, described as light chocolate brown cream color for eye and cheek. It was first shown on the Runway AW2015 and was used to ‘illuminate the eyes and create a seductive but softened smokey eye look’. You may also use this product on you cheeks as it has a very creamy medium to biuldable formula and helps you to create ‘a creamy, subtle sheen on cheeks, for a fresh, incandescent look ready for everyday wear’.
As the eye look centered collection the Tom Ford Eye Color Quad ($80.00) in Cocoa Mirage becomes an essential part of the AW15 Runway look. As seen on the photo above this particular quad features fours complementing shades, three of which are mattes and the one is satin. For even more sophisticated look you can use the Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate ($80.00) palette in Intensity One/Two, that was also a part of the Runway AW15. ‘From Tom Ford’s point of view, the first step to beauty is understanding the architecture of your face and bringing balance and symmetry to your features’. This palette contains both highlighting and contouring shades in cream form that allows to significantly simplify the application process.
To make your eyes even more expressive and alluring it is suggested that you use the Tom Ford Extreme Mascara ($45.00) that now comes in the shade Raven. It is stated that the lash-filling powders each mascara contains help to amplify the impact it creates. This mascara also has a creamy long-wearing formula that allows you to avoid any clumping and crumbling throughout the wear time. You may also intensify the eye look with the Tom Ford Eye Defining Pencil ($36.00) in Espresso that easily creates intense and kohl-like effect on the eyes. And to define you brows you can reach for the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor ($45.00) in any of four existing shades – Blonde, Taupe, Chestnut or Espresso. As seen ‘as one of the most important elements of the face’, eyebrows can easily be sculptured and defined with the Brow Sculptor as it has a unique calligraphy tip for even more tailored strokes that can vary from the thinnest to widest.
And finally, the Runway AW15 features gorgeous nude-colored lip and nail products. The Tom Ford Lip Color Shine ($52.00) lipstick in color Bare is an amazing way to subtly define your lips without distracting attention from your eyes. This lipstick us infused with ‘rare an exotic ingredients‘ like soda seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter and chamomile flower oil for even more moisture and incredible shine. And to finish this soft and gentle autumn look you may use the Tom Ford Nail Lacquer ($35.00) in Toasted Sugar – light creamy nude shade, ideal for any time of the year and for any occasion. It is a part of the permanent line, but was repromoted specifically for this Runway collection.
