This month’s favorites post caught me right on the beach filled with sunshine, salty air and sea waves crashing right by my feet. The month of June was full of oldies but goodies with some newbies coming by. All in all I was pretty surprised to really like some of the new summer launches – and to find more gorgeous products from favorite brands.

The Hourglass Ambient Lightning Palette ($58.00) is one of my most favorite purchases ever. You can see how much it’s already used up! This is a great product because you get to try three of the Hourglass Ambient Lightning powders at once. And all three are absolutely exceptional – very finely milled, with no shimmer but extreme luminosity. This is the best powder to create the healthy glow with a single swipe of a brush.

While I was passing by the Smashbox counter this cute pink Smashbox Always Sharp Lip Liner ($20.00) in Frecnhie caught my, instantly! This liner has a unique feature – a built-in sharpener right in the cap. Whenever you twist the pencil it sharpens and you always have a perfectly pointed lip pencil for the most precise lip lining. By the way, the color is absolutely gorgeous – a cool-toned medium pink shade that stays put for ages! 100% waterproof – perfect of summer makeup.

Maybelline Master Sculpt Contouring Palette (£6.99 or $10.50) is the most recent addition to my makeup collection that I was so much impressed with. It is really nice to see when the drugstore brand starts producing good contouring products and highlighters and this one is no exception. I has a very descent contouring shade that looks pretty good on my cool-toned NW20 skin. The highlighter is very cute – light champagne highlighter with shimmery effect on the skin. Very beautiful! Stay tuned for a full review sometime next week.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Style Eye-Con No. 7 Plush Shadow in The Tease 202 ($59.00) was one of my very first purchases of the Marc Jacobs Beauty about two years ago – right when the line was launched. Recently I started using it on a daily basis because of unique shades it has. This palette allows you to create the most sophisticated makeup looks ever yet leaving you with the opportunity to do office-appropriate and basic makeup looks as well. I adore everything lilac-toned and this is one of the best palettes of this kind I have seen!

I think that Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (£3.99 or $6.00) has already been raved so much and I feel a bit late to the party now. Nevertheless, I think is a great powder for very hot and sunny days as it does make my oily T-zone matte for at least 8-9 hours without drying out my sensitive dry skin in other areas.

For about a couple of months the whole beauty world has been praising the Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush ($26.00). I got mine in Rapture and couldn’t be happier with it! This powder blush has incredible pigmentation and a gentle, finely milled formula that allows it to look extremely natural on the skin. These are definitely one of the best blushes on the market up-to-date and I do recommend to check these out if you like blushes.

And finally there is the bronzer that I have already done a full review on – Make Up For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion ($36.00). The shade I own is the 15I – light luminous. This one is a really good match to my NW20 skin and looks very natural. It works beautifully with a kabuki-like brush that applies product smooth and flawless. It is an ideal choice for hot weather or for the seaside as it is waterproof and will stay put no matter what. I really like it for this summer.
So these are my most favorite products of June. Hope that it was interesting for you! If you have any questions – leave them in the comments down below!
