Product Empties: Quarterly Edition (2)

As the June is over and the second quarter of the year as well it is the time for the product empties that I do each three months. This time I have some really interesting products to talk about along with some gorgeous products that I have already featured in my product empties last time.

Chanel Les Beiges All-In-One Healthy Glow Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen Review
Chanel Les Beiges All-In-One Healthy Glow Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen

The first product is the Chanel Les Beiges All-In-One Healthy Glow Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen ($45.00). I have already done a comparison review on this tinted moisturizer here. It has finally run out and I am not going to repurchase it any time soon. For an absolutely flawless application this fluid requires a beauty blender as fingers and brush leave it streaky. The lightest shade in the range that I own is slightly darker than my NW20 skin and the rest of the range is visibly deeper in shades. Even though it is a hydrating foundation/tinted moisturizer it is no good for dry patches and feels like quite a thick face cream when applied. Luckily, this fluid does add some glow to the skin like any good moisturizer does and it stays on my dry skin for 8-10 hours. It is a nice product but there are too many products of the same quality for the lesser price like Bourjois 123Perfect  CC cream or equally priced Nars Tinted Moisturizers with the way better color selection.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet Review
The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet

The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost (£12.00 or $18.00) has already been a part of my March Favorites. I love this moisturizer so much! It has a very unique texture like a true sorbet that turns into a water and applies easily on the skin. It really does hydrate my skin and acts as a wonderful makeup base. It is an essential part of my makeup routine and I have already got a new one.

Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base Review
Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base

Another of my absolute favorites and a definite makeup staple for me is the Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base ($25.00). There is no better eyeshadow base than this one and I have already done a full review on it. I have gone through so many of these already and I will definitely keep repurchasing it. This base is so awesome that you wouldn’t believe – all eyeshadows applied over it stay put for as long was you have makeup on and the intensity of colors is incredible even if the eyeshadow has a poor color payoff. Totally recommend it!

Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Ink Pen Eyeliner Review
Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Ink Pen Eyeliner

I have been writing about Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Ink Pen Eyeliner ($7.99) many times before. It was featured in my February Favorites, in Top 10 under $10 products, in Blackest Eyeliner and some other posts. It is an awesome felt-tip liner. It is a great product with amazing quality for such an affordable price. The felt tip applicator is very thin and flexible that allows you to draw a very precise line as well as a dramatic one. Though it is not waterproof it is very long-wearing. And the best part of it – it does not dry out, it just runs out – in two-three months depending on how often you use it. Isn’t it just perfect?

MAC Strobe Cream Review
MAC Strobe Cream

After a year of regular use I run out of MAC Storbe cream ($33.00). It is moisturizer with iridescent shimmer in it that brightens and highlights the skin. Alone on the skin it looks a bit too shiny but works wonders with a powder or liquid foundations on top. It is the best solution for dry dull skin as it instantly changes the look of it. It hydrates well and adds luminosity to the skin making it look healthy, glowing and fresh. I will repurchase it for sure. You can read the comparison review here.

L'Oreal Magic Lumi Highlighting Concealer Review
L’Oreal Magic Lumi Highlighting Concealer

You may have already read my thoughts on the L’Oreal Magic Lumi Highlighting Concealer ($12.95 or £8.49). It is a very nice highlighting concealer and I like to use it to highlight the under-eye area and to conceal the dark circles. It has barely visible highlighting particles in its consistency that turn into a a gorgeous brightening concealer on the skin that does not dry out the sensitive under-eye area. It stays put for hours if set with a powder. Already repurchased. Twice.

Clinique All About Eyes Rich eye cream Review
Clinique All About Eyes Rich eye cream

I think that I have already mentioned the Clinique All About Eyes Rich eye cream ($31.00 for 0.5 oz) a thousand times: in Review of the Day, in Skincare Findings, in February Favorites and many more. It is a great fragrance-free under-eye moisturizer that is truly magical. It is a staple in my makeup routine and I cannot imagine applying concealer without applying this cream beforehand. It has a very smooth texture, absorbes extremely quickly and does not feel greasy. It is the best product to prevent any concealer from creasing and I love it! Got a third jar already.

Guerlain Meteorites Powder for the Face Review
Guerlain Meteorites Powder for the Face

You know I love glowy makeup and products that help me to create this famous glow-from-within look. One of these products is the Guerlain Meteorites Powder for the Face ($62.00), that was already featured in a comparison review and in the Ultimate Glow edition. Is is a very expensive makeup item but it will last you for a very long time. The packaging is beautifully designed and the powder pearls inside smell divine. The powder itself is translucent and works nice a finishing powder.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara Review
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

And finally, there is another one of my makeup staples – Urban Decay Perversion Mascara ($22.00). I have already dedicated a whole praiseful post to this absolutely amazing mascara. I really love to use it together with the Urban Decay Subversion primer and you can take a look at the swatches and full review here. It is the best mascara ever and I totally recommend you to try it!

My monthly empties usually do consist of the products I use daily or at very least – often. These are normally the best of the best, proven with time makeup products and I love such posts as you can always get a very good idea of what products are really like in a long run. Hope this was interesting and entertaining for you! If you have any questions, thoughts and ideas – please leave them in the comments down below!

Thank you very much for your attention.

Have an amazing day!

Hugs and kisses,
