Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer. Part 2: Corals

Today we continue talking about the Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer lipsticks. I have already reviewed two amazing lipsticks from the range – Nude and Bare Pop shades. I am very impressed with the quality of these lipsticks and with the color selection that allows everyone to find a flattering shade.

I have two other lipsticks that I can easily classify as corals due to very strong orange undertone in the texture of both of them. The Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer ($18.00) in Beige Pop seems to be a nude color at first, but it differs quite a lot from the Nude Pop. The color is a true warm beige with the very visible orange hue to it.

It seems to be a perfect everyday color for those with warm skin tone. This lipstick has no glitter or sparkle in the consistency unlike the Nude Pop.

The finish is more glossy than shiny in comparison to the nude lipsticks in the collection, reminds a lot of the lacquer lipsticks. The lipstick tube reflects the shade inside cooler than it’s actually is but it makes the tube more distinguishable if you own all these colors. The wear time is the same as it was with the first two lipsticks – it wears perfectly for four to five hours and vanishes steadily.

The second lipstick in today’s review is the Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer ($18.00) in Melon Pop. This is a light warm toned orange shade with the same glossy finish and no glitter.

It is a much brighter color than the Beige Pop and way more orange. Although, it leans tiny bit pinker on cool toned complexion so this shade seems to be dependent on lighting and skin tone.

It is a gorgeous color for summer and will be suitable for many skin tones and undertones. The bottom part of the tube translates the color correctly and this is the only true orange in the whole range. The wear time is still about five hours.

Both lipsticks feel comfortable on the lips due to the fact that the range is based on the primer for lips that reminds me of the lip balm. The color pay-off of the both lipsticks is quite opaque, though it is less easy to apply the Beige Pop evenly than the other three lipsticks. But nevertheless, the final result seems to be exactly the same.

I really like these four lipsticks a lot and find them perfect for everyday wear as these colors can easily compliment any makeup look and are a really nice option for the upcoming summer.

Three more lipsticks to be reviewed in the Part 3! So don’t miss the next post if you wonder what other colors I got for the review. Please leave any questions in the comments down below and I will be happy to provide you with thorough answers.

Thank you very much for your attention.

Have an amazing day!

Hugs and kisses,

Dorothea
