Sunday makeup news: Most Recent Clinique launches

Clinique new launches

Clinique has one of the most innovative and progressive approaches to makeup and skin care and combined with very adequate price along with high quality of their products it makes to top ten of my favorite brands. Over the past couple of months we’ve seen quite a lot of exciting new releases from Clinique – most of them worth mentioning and considering – as this brand always does have some exciting new products to offer.

One of the most interesting releases is the newest Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer ($27.00), that comes in a huge variety of shades starting from the appropriate match for the fairest skin tones up to the deepest.

The product was created to combine the foundation and concealer in order to simplify over everyday makeup routine. The brand is recommending to use the doe-foot applicator both side ways – the backside to apply products as a foundation to the larger areas of the face like forehead and chin or cheeks and the tip of the applicator to use the product as a concealer to cover the under-eye circles or blemishes and skin imperfections. Weightless texture together with the moisturizing features is supposed to compliment your skin in the most natural way and stay flawless for quite a long time. Isn’t it just an awesome idea for an everyday makeup look?

Clinique’s creativity doesn’t seem to end there and we are lucky to get their own version of highlighter and contour that seems to be on the cream sculpting edge of the makeup market recently – meet the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight/Contour (both $21.00).

Both of the sticks are perfect to use on top of either bare skin or your foundations and are supposed to deliver exceptional sculpting results. The Contour Stick is ideal to create an illusion of the depth on your face (like sharp cheekbones or a perfect jawline) and the Highlighting Stick is perfect to reflect light on your face for even more luminosity. If you always wanted to try cream contouring but were not sure if you can master it – these are definitely worth considering as they seem quite fool-proof and are supposed to be easily bendable. At least, I really can’t wait to try contour and highlighting sticks by Clinique!

And finally there is the Clinique Sculptionary Cheek Contouring Palette ($32.00). You might say that Clinique is quite keen on flawless and perfectly contoured face right now as all of the recent products by the brand are devoted to that part of makeup.

All of the six palettes feature natural-looking shades that work amazing together. As a multi-purpose each palette consists of three shades of different size – one as a highlight, one as a contour and one as a blush. You can easily use each sector separately or mix them all together for a glowy pop of color on your cheeks. Although I would not recommend to use each palette for highlighting and contouring, as berry and pink toned shades are not specifically designed for it. Nevertheless, some of the palettes can be used for at least two purposes – as blush and as a highlighter. Overall, the idea is really cool and these palettes seem perfect for our everyday makeup looks.

All of the products are already available in the stores and on the Clinique website.

What do you think about these new launches?

Thank you very much for your attention.

Have an amazing day!

Hugs and kisses,

Dorothea
