My Thoughts on EOS Lip Balms

EOS lip balms in Sweet Mint, Lemon Drop, Strawberry Sorbet, Pomegranate Raspberry, Honeysuckle Honeydew

Hello, gorgeous!

Who doesn’t want to have beautiful, healthy, smooth looking lips? Who doesn’t reach for a balm to soften their lips in winter and early spring? Who doesn’t look for something to sooth lips by the end of the day?

In fact everyone, men and women, need to moisturize their lips at least once a day. Low temperatures in winter, cold winds in spring and autumn, hot sun in summer and very dry air from air-conditioning all over the year result in very dry skin, especially on our lips, that definitely deserve the best care we can provide them with. And one of the most popular ways to nourish our lips is to use a lip balm. And sometimes we all want to have something that really works and looks cute at the same time – like EOS Lip Balms.

EOS lip balms ($3.29) are the lip balms produced by the company called Evolution of Smooth. This balms come in a variety of colors (of packaging only, product has no color to it) and scents and I personally own five of them in the following flavors: Sweet Mint, Lemon Drop, Strawberry Sorbet, Pomegranate Raspberry and Honeysuckle Honeydew.

The product is promised to be moisturizing due to natural conditioning oils, shea butter and Vitamins C and E. The company states that the ingredients used for production are 99% natural and will provide you with long lasting moisture. Each lip balm of different flavor does have quite a strong smell to it – of either mint or strawberry or lemon (depends on what the name of the balm says) mixed with the wax smell, but still quite nice and delicious. While applying it on the lips the lip balm feels quite natural, doesn’t create a film on your lips or smell chemically.

Even though it is a lip balm it was not intended to be a treatment for chapped lips (for that case EOS has the Medicated Tangerine lip balm, that I haven’t tried). The main purposes of these cute spheres is to give you instant feel of smoother lips, to give you a bit of moisture and to make your lips visibly softer. And it really does all that. It definitely won’t help you a lot if you have real problems with the dryness or patchiness on your lips, but it’s a nice product to be used on daily basis to prevent dry lips, to use underneath the lipstick (especially mattes), to use before you go to sleep. The balm doesn’t absorb very quickly and I don’t have to reapply the product too often. It is very budget friendly and it definitely smells very nice and looks cute providing the aesthetic and aromatic joy of use.

I love those cute little spheres and I already own five flavors and can recommend them to you.

Do you have EOS lip balms? Or have tried these balm before? What do you think about it?

If you have any questions – please leave them in the comments down below and I will be happy to answer them.

Thank you very much for your attention.

Have an amazing day!

Hugs and kisses,

  1. I love the Pomegranate Raspberry, it’s my go-to lip balm. I really love it because it doesn’t feel thick on the lips, I’ve had that problem with most lip balms so it was great when I discovered EOS (:
