Make-Up of the Day: Glowy look for a sunny afternoon.

Hello, gorgeous!

For a nice sunny day, like the one we are having today, I go for a simple, but nice and glowy make-up look, that is supposed to enhance my features and doesn’t feel overdone.

So, for my make-up look today I chose the products on the photo above – read further for additional description on each product. I bet you’ll love them as much as I do!

As a foundation I use the Chanel Les Beiges All-in-one Healthy Glow Fluid ($45). It has quite a thick consistency but applies pretty sheer with a beauty blender or your fingers. I doesn’t have a feel greasy or oily, though I believe it will be too much for those with oily skin, but it provides you with a very glowy and healthy look. If you feel a bit uncomfortable wearing it on its own you can always use a sheer powder to set it and get rid of extreme shine that may appear on oily skin. As for me I have quite a dry skin and this fluid seems to be a perfect solution for me as it doesn’t cling on to any dry patches and serves like a nice moisturizer. This fluid foundation is marked as a limited edition on Chanel official web site but it’s been a year since it’s release and it’s still available for purchase.

As my under-eye concealer I use the Benefit Fake up concealer in 01 Light ($24) – it has a unique consistency due to the balm surrounding the concealer itself making it extremely suitable for a delicate area under your eyes. By the way, feel free to use it on any other part of your face, but never forget to use a little powder over to set it.

Then, for a healthy look I reach for one of my favorite blushes – Mac powder blush in Royal Sunset ($22), that was a part of a limited-edition of Summer 2013 collection. the color is a very nice rosy-pinky-peach one that helps for a well-rested look and is also very appropriate for an everyday make-up. One swipe is enough for both cheeks on my NW20 skin, but the color is very buildable if needed that makes it suitable for deeper skinniness as well. Whenever I have no idea which blush to chose I always grab this one as it goes well with every make-up look and never feels overwhelming.

When I am ready with my cheek color I prefer adding more glow to my skin using my favorite, number one highlighter out there – The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer ($24). I believe that practically every one has already raved about this highlighter and it truly deserves all the hype it gets! It produces the utmost glow possible when light hits it on your face but still looks nice and very much day-time appropriate if used moderately.

For my eyes I love to use the Maybelline Color Tatoo 24HR cream gel eyeshadow in color 65 Pink Gold ($6.99) as it is truly long wearing (I can easily get away with 16 hours of wear with it without any base) and it is definitely the easiest way to make your eye look fresh and sparkle.

One of my most favorite mascaras is the curling magic one created by the Urban decay – Supercurl curling mascara in black (£15.50 or $23.90). It curls my lashes like nothing else and helps to open the eye without any eyelash curlers and the color it provides is ultra black.

For everyday look I usually go for nice glossy lips and my Revlon Super Lustrous Lip gloss in Supernatural ($7.99) is an ideal choice for such a look with the non-sticky and extremely glossy constancy it provides.

And as a finish for the look of the day I spray a little bit of the gentlest fragrance that reminds me a lot of the spring to come – my favorite Dior Addict Eau Sensuelle ($43), which I believe was a limited edition in summer 2013.

So, my make-up of the day is ready and if you have any questions or would like to see any in-depth review of the products mentioned in this post – please leave the comments down below 🙂

Thank you very much for your attention.

Have an amazing day!

Hugs and kisses,
